IMATA Conservation Fund

Purpose:
The International Marine Animal Trainers Association Conservation Fund Award, founded in 2008, was developed to provide financial support for projects which focus on conservation-oriented issues and promote communication, professionalism, and cooperation among those who serve marine mammal science through training, public display, research, husbandry, conservation, and education.
All proceeds raised through the 2010 IMATA Annual Conference raffle and auction will be used to subsidize the initiation of the IMATA Conservation Fund and the IMATA Research Grant. Please check back here in January to see when the 2011 Conservation Fund application is due.
