UNEXSO: The Dolphin Experience will host the 2012 IMATA Regional Animal Training Workshop.

The two day workshop takes place in the city of Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, The Bahamas.

The two day workshop will be held at The Dolphin Experience. Focus of the workshop focus on “Dolphin Interactive Training” and “The benefits of Open Ocean Training & Straight-line Swimming”.

In addition to discussion on Interactive Training, The Dolphin Experience will offer Open Ocean Training sessions for interested attendees.

The workshop benefits dolphin trainers working in Dolphin Interactive Environments.

Open Ocean Training provides insights into an area of dolphin training many have yet to experience.

Workshop Presentations:
We encourage attendees to present papers.
Presentations need not to be formal; sharing related topics, ideas, research and projects with peers is how we learn as a collective.
Presenters are allowed 15-minutes followed by a 5-minute Question & Answer session.

9:00 am: Presentation by The Dolphin Experience “Physical & Mental Benefits of Open Ocean Training” followed by Open Ocean Training Sessions.
12:00 pm – 1:30 pm:Lunch provided by UNEXSO: Dive In Bar & Grill.
2:00: Free afternoon to explore Port Lucaya Market Place.
5:00 pm – 7:00 pm: The Dolphin Experience Ice Breaker. Let’s get to know each other!

Sunday, March 18, 2012
9:00 am: Presentations discussing “Dolphin Interactive Programs Training & Open Ocean Training”.
12:00 pm – 1:30 pm: Lunch provided by UNEXSO: Dive In Bar & Grill.
2:00 – 5:00 pm:Resume Dolphin Interactive Training presentations/discussions. Open Ocean Training Sessions allowing participant’s opportunity to experience firsthand.
5:00 pm: 2012 Bahamas IMATA Workshop closing ceremony.

Event will be hosted in Freeport, Grand Bahama Island, The Bahamas.
