IMATA Research Grant

Purpose:
The International Marine Animal Trainers Association Research Grant, founded in 2008, was developed to provide financial support for investigations which address IMATA's mission to advance the humane care and handling of marine animals by fostering communication between professionals that serve marine animal science through training, public display, research, husbandry, conservation, and education.
All proceeds raised through the 2010 IMATA Annual Conference raffle and auction will be used to subsidize the initiation of the IMATA Research Grant and the IMATA Conservation Fund. Please check back here in January to see when the 2011 Research Grant application is due.
