The Aquarium of Niagara will be offering behind the scenes tours of animal areas, panel discussions on housing non-releasable animals with physical ailments, husbandry, and discussions on multiple species enrichment. Training sessions and public presentations will be held throughout the day. In addition to guest speakers, all visiting facilities will have the opportunity to present on topics that have been submitted by abstract.

 

Ice Breaker:

Participants of the Northeast IMATA Regionals are invited to join us at ‘Wine on Third’ from 6:00pm- 9:00pm on Sunday, 28 April 2019.

Registration:

Registration Fee: $25.00 per day

Registration will include all day admission to the Aquarium, presentations, panel discussions, behind the scene tours, and training session. Participants will receive grab bags, lunch and coffee breaks will also be included both days of the Regional Workshop.

Registration will be held on both days at Guest Services, between 8:30 am - 9:30 am.

Accommodations:

We have partnered with the Sheraton in Niagara Falls, NY. Additional Information:

All participants of the IMATA Northeast Regional are invited to a walk to the American Falls on Tuesday, 30 April 2019. The walk to the Falls from the Aquarium is approximately 20 mins. Guests are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes for the 1 mile walk to the Falls.

Anyone looking to visit Canada must bring updated passport.
