At SeaWorld Orlando, various forms of physical therapy, including cold laser treatment, stretching, and massage, are integrated into the care routine for a wide range of species. This approach is not novel at the facility; species such as California sea lions (Zalophus californianus), beluga whales (Delphinapterus leucas), and walruses (Odobenus rosmarus) have long received these treatments as part of their husbandry.
Since 2017, Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park has successfully raised 17 African black-footed penguins (Spheniscus demersus) from hatchlings through adulthood. Much of this success can be attributed to the consistent breeding efforts of our monogamous pairs.
