In 2017, a variety of enrichment devices were developed and established at Ocean Theater with the goal to further enhance animal welfare, as well as optimize the living environment through mental stimulation.

The Moskvarium Center of Oceanography and Marine Biology is home to nine Baikal seals (Pusa sibirica), 5 males and 4 females. They have lived in their current habitat at the aquarium since the summer of 2015.
